I guess that it's because mac users is such a small part of the market and that anyone just a little bit dedicated to playing online can get a PC for a couple of $100 that can do the job.

More and more are coming along. In case you didn't hear yet, party poker is testing a no download client (http://partypoker.com/nodownload/).

The full tilt client for mac is great. In fact the exported hand histories can even be imported into poker tracker (PT runs great in virtual pc).

Pokerroom is petty decent and there's no shortage of bonuses between them and the skins.

Many sites also function acceptably in virtual PC such as the cryptos and ultimate bet.

I'd really like to see a mac native version of Poker Tracker, but that won't happen, its just not worth his time. Mac Poker Pro seems good but its not quite on par with PT.

I think I remember an old thread where someone explained that Mac users are often artsy/creative kind of people that usually do not gamble much, so that the effective population of poker playing Mac users is even lower than the Mac market share would suggest.

Having said that, I'm very happy with the Full Tilt Mac client, but I feel like the games got much tougher over the past couple of months.

You can login and try it right now. During the beta testing you can only play at play money tables. I've tried it on my powerbook and it works pretty similarly to the download party software but with less animation.
