Thanks for the program once again.

I think I'm running bad according to these but not sure. Could someone please tell me what these graphs tell you about my game?

Looks like you've been screwed out of 950 bucks by luck!

do i read the "net run line" under the luck-graphs correctly: when the graph is above 0 i am running good, when it is below 0 i am running bad and when it is ~0 then i am running as expected?

Not enough time to read this thread but in case it hasn't been brought up yet:

In FTP's Cap NL games, it doesn't register as an all-in when the cap is hit before the river (it does if somebody is short and is actually all-in, thus having "all-in" written in the HH).

Well then, that might be less than $40.

I'm on a -250 BB bad luck run over the last 5k hands according to this program.

Bad news: that represents a lot more than $10.

Good news: I'm pretty sure I've lost a lot less than 1/4 of what you have.

Default Re: Sklansky Bucks Calculator: PokerEV

Phil,
Is it possible to come up with a Game Analysis Graph Matrix? In other words, if your graph looks like this, it is likely due to this. So the matrix would look like this:

Your Graph Lines From Highest to Lowest
SW-SB-TW = Fold too much
SW-TW-SB = Loose/C-Bets getting called often
SB-TW-SW = Tight/Agg/Running bad
SB-SW-TW = You fold too much or chase
TW-SB-SW = Earning non-showdown pots/running bad at showdown
TW-SW-SB = Loose/Agg/Running goot

I am not saying these are the correct answers. I am hoping you can correct it.
Maybe this is impossible because if your SB is negative, you're playing bad, etc.

Phil,

is there any chance your wonderful program will work with sngs?

Thanks for your time and work

If I can get a lot of hand histories, the program's at a stage where I can add basic SNG support in a day. I'd need several thousands hand histories from all the three big sites, for error checking and work through the PT storage scheme.

The game analysis will make more sense and be a lot more useful in the next version.

Thanks, I hadn't looked at that. Can't fix it immediately but it will be done.

I just converted to PostgreSQL. Now PokerEV doesn't seem to pick up any new hands that I have in my postgresql database. If I select the postgresql database, it finds all my old hands, but none of my new ones.

I could just use the access DB but I noticed PokerEV is much faster with PostgreSQL. Any fix?

That's strange. Sorry for the dumb questions, but

- Is your system date/time correct?
- Are those hand definitely in the database? Do they have the correct date on the general info tab in PokerTracker?
- Is your time offset on the databases tab correct?

The access and postgres queries all have the same parameters, they're just converted into the syntax of each database. I just played a couple of hands and it picked up both.

Get back to me if you still have problems.

there needs to be something that measures/graphs the change in the gap between your actual winnings and adjusted equity. is there already such a feature and i just can't find it?

The "net run" line on the Luck Graphs tab.
