10NL, nut flush on paired board
Tell me how badly I donked up this one:
Full table just broke up. Villain is 20/0 over 100 hands. Im thinking that I should have taken a bet flop, bet turn line. Not sure what I was thinking here. Comments on all street welcome but Im particularly interested in river play. Bodog No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com Button ($8.53) Hero ($8.75) BB ($5.61) UTG ($6.76) MP ($11.11) Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Button calls $0.10, Hero completes, BB checks. Final Pot: $17.38 I should have reevaluated here because villain is not doing this with lesser flush. I wish I would have looked at his stats before making this terrible river shove. |

Re: 10NL, nut flush on paired board
On the river your 3bet AI is spew (but you know that). I have a hard time folding to his river raise, but honestly I feel like you're beat here more often than not. I would c/c the river rather than lead it.

Re: 10NL, nut flush on paired board
You should have bet this hand on the flop. Maybe you would still have lost, but at least you would have got some money in before the board paired, at which point you can maybe slow down a little.
Slow play = bad play mostly. As played, simply call his bet on the river, no sense in shoving because only better hands would normally call except MAYBE Ks. |
