Not sure what to do either, but I'll eliminate shoving into him. You will fold out all the hands you beat except (maybe) AQ and will get called by a lot of hands that beat you.

Re: 200NL: Made straight on turn but ugly river
anyone else fold the flop after checking it? this kind of hand has a lot of reverse implied odds - 7high flush draw and when we make a straight it's the third one.

[/ QUOTE ] eh, naaaaaah. if you were on the button and the same action happened preflop.. most likely you'd limp along too.. would u fold then simply because of the reverse implied odds? the answer is hopefully no. eidt: ok lets assume everyone has you covered too |

Shove. No one is folding trips here.

Shove. No one is folding trips here. [/ QUOTE ] But how often does he have trips compared to a boat/bigger straight? |

Re: 200NL: Made straight on turn but ugly river
He's not overlimping JJ+, and probably not AQ either. Basically all I beat that calls me is JQ/KQ, and those will sometimes fold to my turn c/r.
I don't intend for this to be one of those hands that people post just to insist their point of view is right, but I am still not convinced this is an easy push. |
