Default 200NL: Made straight on turn but ugly river

Villian is 28/11 and seems fairly solid.

Poker Stars

Stack sizes:
UTG: $85.50
UTG+1: $52.25

Button: $231.70
SB: $73.20
Hero: $335.75

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($10, 5 players)

Not sure what to do either, but I'll eliminate shoving into him. You will fold out all the hands you beat except (maybe) AQ and will get called by a lot of hands that beat you.

anyone else fold the flop after checking it? this kind of hand has a lot of reverse implied odds - 7high flush draw and when we make a straight it's the third one.

eh, naaaaaah. if you were on the button and the same action happened preflop.. most likely you'd limp along too.. would u fold then simply because of the reverse implied odds? the answer is hopefully no.

He's not overlimping JJ+, and probably not AQ either. Basically all I beat that calls me is JQ/KQ, and those will sometimes fold to my turn c/r.

I don't intend for this to be one of those hands that people post just to insist their point of view is right, but I am still not convinced this is an easy push.
