Re: HSP 9/04
[ QUOTE ]
Then, he thinks about the ton of hands that beat him. Finally, he announces out loud again that he doesn't know what EL has, and calls. [/ QUOTE ] No mention even of K-10 (would be open ended on the Q-J-8 flop) that made Daniel's straight 2nd nut STRAIGHT on board after A came on the river. He does have more player knowledge on EL, but still.... |

Eli plays bad and he constantly shows the tell of being interested in props when he has a strong hand. [/ QUOTE ] He has also pretended to be interested in the props when bluffing. |

Of course he will, he has been playing like a tilted-off pay-off wizard.

Re: HSP 9/04
Ya know he just might be real interested in the props when he's strong and weak. Considering he's 125k stuck in em and, at least prior to the KJ hand, winner in HSP no?

Re: HSP 9/04
[ QUOTE ]
Greenstein always advocates how he always bets and doesnt give free cards away, now hes checking his fullhouse behind on the turn. This should let alarm bells ring go off to your opponant. Why did he check the turn, also gabe said it was a very good play...jeh maiby for other players but I thought barry was agressive always in there betting? also still love ya barry [/ QUOTE ] This is very different. He had a full house, and wasn't in anyway worried about being drawn out on. His play was as +EV as it could be if he put E-Dog on the mid pocket pair(or possibly a medium strength jack), which i assumed he did. He played the hand like he had AK(raise pf, c-bet flop, check turn, try take the pot away on the river) and was maybe a little unlucky not to get a call on the end. |

Ugh, he definitely said that he knew he wasn't holding K-10? [/ QUOTE ] He might have said it, but that doesn't make it true. Given the way some of these guys are playing hands, sure he could have had KT -- they raise and call PF with anything and he would have flopped an open-ended which in this game seems to warrant bets and calls. |

Given the way some of these guys are playing hands, sure he could have had KT -- they raise and call PF with anything and he would have flopped an open-ended which in this game seems to warrant bets and calls. [/ QUOTE ] He meant Erick wouldn't have come over the top with a rivered straight hoping to get called with so many viable full house combos to go broke against. Daniel deduced that Erick had either filled up or was bluffing, and he probably knows Erick well enough to be sure of it, but he severely misconstrued the logical likelihood of each due to raging hyena tilt. "I just... I don't know what he has, I have no idea. I'm just gonna call." You could almost hear the screws loosening and rolling out onto the floor. |
