Dear Texans,

nice draft

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL!
It is awesome that Bush and Vince Young have lived up the the hype.

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF? Bush has a horrendously bad ypc average and scored 2 TDs in his first 11 games. Vince Young fumbles a bunch and hasn't yet been a starter long enough for teams to have figured him out. They aren't lock HOFers just yet.

Plus, IT'S 12 GAMES INTO THEIR CAREERS.

Have you watched the last few games? These guys were rookie and off to a slow starts but things are coming together now. VY has lead them to a win the last few weeks and Bush is starting to break out as expected. Maybe people had Higher expectations than I did but IMO these guys are both coming together. VY will leads a good Titans teams for several years IMO.

is it just me or does this seem like it has been the longest 3rd quarter ever?

[/ QUOTE ]

Shh, if it ends all the fun might end. This has been very entertaining.

Saints best in the NFC?

[/ QUOTE ]

Right now, yes. Their D is suspect though, and Chicago's #1 if Grossman can remember which team to throw it to soon or at least haul in the chucking.

I wish I put money on this game. I have no idea what the spread was, but I'm sure Dallas was favored and I picked the Saints to win outright.

This is an absolute beatdown. Sean Payton is owning Bill Parcells. Reggie Bush is disgusting. The Texans should kick themselves from now until they win a Superbowl for passing on that guy.

Drew Brees would be the NFL MVP if it wasn't for Tomlinson breaking the touchdown record today.

Based on what I have seen today and in the past few weeks, the two best teams in the NFL are the Saints and Chargers. I would not be at all surprised to see that as a Superbowl matchup.

As a backup plan, I would go with Chicago (gulp) in the NFC and Baltimore in the AFC.

So why do players always try to tuck the ball inside the pylon if the line extends into forever?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure Madden's wrong about the rule.

[/ QUOTE ]

Madden is right, the Goal line extends across the world. I'm not entirely sure why they always dive for the pylon. There is probably more to the rule than I personally know.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see how it extends to infinity - if it did, guys should be diving from like 2 yard line at a 45 degree angle away from the end zone.

Wait exactly one more week before making this statement. Young has to play against a team that has already seen him play and against his team's #1 rival who they were demolished by the last time they played them. Young has film on him now, his athletic ability will only take him so far at this point.

The way I look at Young is:

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Is there anyway we can get two AFC teams in the superbowl this year?
