Go to the Dirty Bird in Surrey if you want to laugh, its the dirtiest bird you will ever see. (Middle aged overweight crack addicts trying to make their way in life)

As far as Vancouver strip clubs Ive never been to one, but there are a couple on columbia in New Westminister that are decent.

... a .45 ACP Springfield Armory 1911 subcompact pistol. I wear all said equipment on the belt, and conceal said equipment with a leather balla jacket.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why subcompact? Given that you're obviously the bouncer, and that you're not going to really conceal all that stuff, just cover it, I'd think you would want a fullsize for reliability reasons if nothing else.

I can conceal it all, and I've had no reliability issues with the sub. I just don't really like the full size 1911's, the 5" barrel is just too long, and I don't really like the wierd looking 4" barrel 1911's. Besides, I'm a "One Gun" guy anyway, so I carry that one piece on me 24/7, not just at work. I've done some trials using several guns and using one gun, and I've realized, like most armed professionals, that if you carry the same gun all the time in all situations, instead of different guns for different situations, you get much more comfortable as well as much more competent with the gun you do carry.

I am pretty sure in my state(VA) it is Illegal to carry a gun in a bar(any place that serves alcohol). Anyone know anything about this?

I clean it with a passion that can only be explained by OCD. I also have a polished feed ramp, lowered ejection port, and I replace my mags every 3 months. I've fired app 6500 rounds through it, so its well broken in. It fires hollow points better than FMJ rounds. I use 185g Speer GoldDots, exclusively. When you're dealing with 1911's, its very important to find what your weapon likes to "eat" and stick to it.

In GA, working as an armed security guard requires you to be registered with the state, on a much higher level than your average CCW (Concealed Carry Weapons) permit. I am required to register my firearm with the state, qualify with it, pass 62 hours of firearm safety courses per year, I must shoot with an accuracy higher than 85%, I had to pass a written exam, as well as a yearly phych exam and physical. I am subjected to a full FBI/CIA background check, as well as another background check run by the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) I also had to pay for these exams. Once completed, this puts you on the same level as an off duty police officer, weapon wise, without arrest powers. This information is on the Secretary of State webpage, which controls private investigators and security personnel in the state of GA.

Sure, my fee is $175/hr, with a 4 hour minimum. If you're a tool, it becomes $350/ 1/2 hour.
