By checking the turn in order to check raise the river, you are giving two free cards. They get to see the turn for free, then they get to see the river for free Since they don't get hit until they have seen both cards and can then drop.
Why not check raise the turn instead?, then they get no free cards, plus they dont get to see the river as much either.

those who checkraise at the right times will greatly increase their earn over those that do not checkraise, or those that do not checkraise at the right times.

there is alot more strategy to the game than just checkraising. otherwise people will just check behind.
