Maybe this has been posted already but anyways, I'm watching one of Green Plastics Cardrunners.com videos.
He folds AcTc to a raise and the flop comes all clubs. This is what he says: Scroll down, link deleted. |

Re: Green Plastics UB theorem wtf?
i was told by annie duke a few years ago that the algorithm that determines the next card (flop/turn/river) is based on many factors, some of which have to do with amount of players left in the hand and other things that change based on your actions.
so, you basically have no idea what the flop would have been if you had stayed in or folded or whatever. its actually a good thing, as paying attention to stuff like that can drive you crazy and cause you to develop bad habits. tc |

Re: Green Plastics UB theorem wtf?
Because it's funnier to hear him say it...
Are you sure you guys dare to read it tho, you might get a virus IN YOUR EYES! lol... Alright, here's what he says after Folding AT of clubs. Flop comes something like: Kc7c4c GP: That would have been a nice flop for me I'm not positive if this is true but I'm almost certain that on UltimateBet the algorithm that determines the flop is based on how many players stay in the hand and sees the flop. So basicly what I'm saying is that if you see a flop and you folded two clubs and the flop comes all clubs, it wouldn't have been the same flop if you stayed in the hand. Don't let that bother you it's not like real poker where if you had stayed in you would have had the best hand. // Edit: I type slow Ok go ahead and delete the thread if you want wasn't too sure about the copyright thing... but geez, This thread sents of Grumpy old men... enjoy |
