What is the best tournament strategy given the following: 8-table, 80-person freeze-out ($60 buy-in), 15-minute rounds, $2500 in starting chips, blinds $25-$50, $50-$100, $100-$200, $300-$600, $400-$800, $500-$1000, $1k-$2k, $2k-$4k, $3k-$6k, etc (no antes ever), pays the top 8 finishers?

No open limping. Raise or fold every hand. Don't pass up on any edges. Definitally don't do anything really dumb like fold AK PF.

If your table is tight, you should consider open-raising in LP everytime it is folded to you no matter what cards you have. You have to accumulate quickly.

Edit: I forgot to add, Run Good.

push on draws gamble it up. play a few speculative hands in level 1 hoping to trap a big hand and dbl up. if not and youll be around 1500-2000 tighten up get a hand 10's ak aq and look to get all-in

I wouldn't even limp at all during level 1. With only 50 BBs, I don't like speculating with any marginal hands. Maybe, just maybe, on the button I will limp behind several limpers with low pocket pair or suited connectors, but I am pretty much raising or folding anything else I play.

And after level 1, there is absolutely no room for limping.
