77 on 4445
20/16 raises pot UTG+1, I call with 77 in SB. HU to flop, 90 BB stacks.
Villain is pretty aggro on the flop, passive on turn/riv. Flop comes 444. 8 BB Pot. I check, villain bets 6.5 BB, I call. Turn is a 5, putting up BD flush draw. 21 BB Pot. I bet 14 BB because villain usually 7 outs when behind and I expect him to play fairly straightforwardly here(check behind or fold with overcards). Villain raises AI. 105:56.5 to call if my arithmetic is right. I fold. Good/Bad/Indifferent? |

Re: Pocket 77
turn bet is ok with your read, though a lot of people will see right through that turn bet for what it is and raise with high cards. fold to the raise.

Re: 77 on 4445
Well you mentioned he is passive on turn/river, so this push looks strong. Does he think you will sometimes play a big pair this way? I assume that good tags will from time to time, so I don't think you are putting yourself in a spot to be exploited here. I like the fold.
