Default 10/25 - AK Hits on the Turn

Villain is an unknown, but suspected good player at this level. I haven't been watching him play, as I just recently joined back into the play.

Ultimate Bet
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $10./$25.
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $3074
Hero: $14219.25
SB: $4077
BB: $1018.50

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $85</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $290</font>, 2 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($615, 2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $400</font>, UTG calls.

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($1415, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($1415, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $1415</font>, Hero ???

Thoughts on the turn and river please. The turn I occasionally bet (when I spike an overcard) but in this case decided to check as the board wasnt too dangerous, and I figured I could milk some value from marginal hands that way. But then he pots the river.

Looks like AQ/A8 to me. In any sit leading pot on the R is very scary even though you've under-represented the T I think it's obvious that you are beat!

I'm sure it was just a sarcastic reply, but A8 never makes it past the flop.

Am glad someone gets my humor and others may have been level'd but I think AK is no good here for sure.

played like qqq and includes aq, i would not call here without alot of history

edit: what was the timing like? i think that is more important than most think in situations like these...
-if his actions on all streets were quick and then he quickly pots river id think qqq is likely(and obv aq); slow and then fast river pot i might call-but prolly not id still want to know he was an idiot first
