Some thoughts (to pick on your rankings )
Oregon is good, but 7? GA Tech #5? Not sure about those. I would split my vote for #1 between USC and LSU. I think it's impossible to say who is better until they have both played more games. I don't think Louisville is a top ten team after seeing them again MTSU. I also don't think Texas is that good. UF is better than 12 imo. Overall, pretty good rankings though. |

Re: NCAAF Rank\'em Week 2.
I figured my avatar would lead to bias accusations, but I'm really not being a homer. I've done Top 25 rankings for years and I have GT below their AP rank as often as I have them above it. I just happen to think the Jackets are really good this year. I had them #10 to start the year and the first two weeks, they've been really impressive while the teams above them (Louisville, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.) have looked like crap. FWIW, I had them ranked the same as CFN last week, so I'm not the only one who's high on Georgia Tech this year.
As for Oregon, on pure yardage differential, they actually led the Pac-Ten last year ahead of USC and just got unlucky on scheduling and turnovers. Now, they look to have a defense on par with their offense with the win over Michigan. I still don't think they're quite as good as UCLA, but I do think they're a Top 10 team. |

Re: NCAAF Rank\'em Week 2.
gatech does have a really soft schedule, I think its very likely they could run the table until they run into UGA the last game of the season, and judging by this week even uga might be soft
watch out for them |

Re: NCAAF Rank\'em Week 2.
GT has like the easiest schedule in the nation, they could go undefeated. We should know more when they play BC this week though.

Re: NCAAF Rank\'em Week 2.
V Tech not top25?
1. LSU 2. Oklahoma 3. Southern Cal 4. West Virginia 5. Penn State 6. Cal 7. Louisville 8. South Carolina 9. Wisconsin 10. UCLA looks like all the Pac10 teams will beat up on each other this year. clearly the best conference from what i've seen so far. |
