Default Re: Call allin with KK on satellite bubble?

While in theory, a fold may be correct, but KK is awfully hard to get away from here.

How successful has BB been at stealing blinds? .... apparently not real successful, or else he lost a big hand. He'll be blinded out in less than 3 rotations...a mere 12 hands. Also, when shorty is UTG, big stack is BB; what is the likelihood big stack calls shorty's inevitable open push?

If you think you can steal a couple of blinds to maintain your stack, you lay it down. If not, hold your nose and push.

Without a read on the other players and since 3rd is the same as 1st in this tourny, Fold. I think you let the blinds and the CL do their job and eat the short stack's chips.

You probably have the best hand but you have the luxury of time that BB doesn't. Wait a round and see what develops. Then you can push for a steal or two and continue to wait out the short stack.

If this tourny is a typical cash payout then you definitely call since you want 1st.

I'm calling here... I think it's pretty close, but I think in the past I have been TOO tight in satellites, and folding here is too tight I think. I'll wait for adanthar though, and reformulate my opinion...

I called. Button had AA. I felt like I just blew $800. Of course KK vs. AA 4-handed is hard to fold. Button had not been pushing in general, but making smaller raises or limping. He just won a big pot from BB. He probably pushed because he didn't want action. Obviously, I was very suprised to see the aces.

I call. I might not if this was for the package itself but, as far as I see it, the worst case scenario is that we are a ~70% favourite here and, I would probably feel that, by folding, I am not making myself more than a 70% favourite to win the seat.

So speaks the Sat noob.

Edit: LOL just seen the results. I guess this is a even worse case scenario.
