PokerStars for Mac?

Can I download PokerStars on my Mac Whitebook? I've tried and it won't install. I guess not?

if it is an intel based mac, install parallels, then install windows XP. You can run Pokerstars on that. For further advice, consult the computer tech forum.

I'm running vista on parallels right now and running pokertracker and stars. Its great.

I'm pretty sure pokerstars is one of the few sites that was able to run under Darwine in OSX instead of using virtualization.

Yeah perhaps it just the same though. They have a mac beta out right now as well. But its cool I like the vista too.

Stars are currently looking for people to test the mac beta. Play money only but its a laugh. email support and let them know if u want to test it. I'm doing it and so far, it seems pretty good.

yeah i got an e-mail from them asking me to test it after i e-mailed them a few times and they said it was only play money beta testing [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

unreal that they dont step on it they are losing a lot of money to the fish who have macs and arent interested enough to get paralells and XP

Problem is, if they used real money to test and it is full of bugs and u end up losing loads due to crashes, freezing, buttons not working etc. it would cost them a fortune. They will want to be 110% certain it works before they release it. I said that if they covered any losses and I could keep any winnings, I would test real money version, no joy. lol [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
