October Goals, Graphs, Results Thread

James I hope I'm not stepping on your toes for doing this. If so feel free to lock.

Kit's goals:

1) stop making foolish isolation plays preflop.
2) realize that I can be drawing on the turn with TPTK or an overpair and thus I can fold the river UI.
3) start a new win streak (snapped yesterday, dropped 6 BB).

Kit's year-end goal: win 200 more BB's at 10/20, to put me at 500 BB total at the level. I can then move up to 20/40.

Kit's really long-term goal: get into med school (MCAT done yay) and pay for it through pokar

Goal: Win back some of the 92.5 BB lost last month.

Won't be playing too much poker this month. Leave to Las Vegas tomorrow but ironically won't be playing any poker due to business and girlfriend. Last week in October will be spent with girlfriend on the beach in Mexico.

To all my well-wishers...
The run of bad cards has thankfully come to an end. Sat down at a 3/6 HE table with $80 and within 45 mins I had doubled up. (Flopped sets with AA and 66, flopped a flush with Qh8h and got way more action than I could have hoped for, and limped with Kx2h and won a tiny pot with four hearts on the board.) Then went to an Omaha/8 table and doubled that in a little over an hour, scooping three giant pots. Life is good.

40 hours of live 6/12 play.
Win rate of 1BB per/hour.

Thus far I have set these goals for myself 2 months in a row, and am 3/4.

Side goal: Don't play 4/8 O8 with the regulars. They know I have AceDeuce suited....

How's everybody doing? I am on pace with all three so far (26 hours, just over 1BB per hour, and 0 hands of omahahahaha)

1st saturday of october: won 10 BB at 10/20

2nd saturday: won 90 BB at 10/20.

i'm 75% of the way to 500 BB, thereby reaching the promised land of playing 20/40.

i'm looking forward to soon getting pwned by players who are better than me. at least it will be a learning experience.

I just got to 40 hours today, and don't plan to sit tomorrow. On the month I managed to run at ~.45 big bets per hour.

I ran great at 3/6 in the few hours I waited for 6/12 seats, basically doubling my total profit for the month.

I played 8 hands of 08 and lost 4 big bets because I am a tool and they had an open seat. And yes, I lost 3 of the big bets with A2s.

So in short, I got the hours, but that's about it. Winning 30 big bets at 3/6 in under 4 hours of play was nice.

meh, 1 BB/hr this month. it started off awesome but the last 4 sessions have a net win of 3 BB (lol).

i thought i was on a fast track to 20/40, but i still have over 100 BB to go. might take awhile longer.

Hey count, you play K2 offsuit often? And you realize you're gonna probably be shortstacked after losing one hand buying in for only 13 BB?

What goes up...

After a running good for a few months I've now had back-to-back losers.

-83.5 BB in 54 hours of live 2/4 during October.

I'll try to right the ship in November.
