Default HU ROI Question,

I play HU PLO8 sngs on Full tilt (30s)

From what i've read on this board, i'm under the impression that at this time, it is currently the hardest it will probably ever be to play sit n gos since the internet is filled with the more "serious" players, as opposed to the people like my dad or my friends who suck and play drunk just for fun.

this leads me to believe that i can expect my ROI to increase when things finally get better and the players come back online.

Does anyone else believe this?
how much should i expect my ROI to increase when this finally happens?

also if there is a thread about this or if it's been already discussed somewhere can someone post the link?

thanks!

Default Re: HU ROI Question,

You'll still have to improve your game somewhat, as the quality of players, even casual fish, will improve some over time.

Unless Yahoo poker gets big.

Anyways, this is a very tough question to ask especially considering we don't know what exactly will happen.

If the rake goes up and the players get worse, your ROI will have to go up to continue to make the same profit.

This might be a better question for the mathematics forum.

Default Re: HU ROI Question,

I think the historic trend of the games becoming tougher will continue in the future, but there will probably be a short term increased softness if/when America loosens up its restrictions on poker.
