I have many ways to counter him but I'd rather not post them all here in case he reads this. I'll just say one thing. Those times where he takes the 'free' showdown by raising or 3 betting the turn in position and you have a pretty strong hand, on some boards I'd rather just call oop and then donk the river since hes very capable of 3 betting and folding to the turn cap.
