I wouldn't be so sure about the part of no action if A or K flops. Sometimes you wont get any action, sometimes someone with KQ will pay you off, it is very opponent dependant.

I hope you are raising some other hands out of the blinds too? In this case, you arent defining it that much. Im usually raising bigger than usual, to limit any customers that want to come along. If you are left heads up you are most likely to pick up the pot after the flop. Sometimes you wont, but thats no big deal.

If several players do call your raise, then you have to be more cautious and look for good flops to do a continuation bet.
