No commercial alchohol after 2 AM in california. At around 1:30AM there is a last call for alcohol in the Commerce sports bar. Therefore we used to fix the beer meeting at 11 PM after individual poker game, for two hour meetings.

Tuesday, October 9th 7PM update...Who all is coming?
October 9th, 2007 at 7:00PM 2+2 meet up.
Ok, based on what I'm hearing about surrounding restaurants, we should just meet at Commerce. Just looking at the selection of restaurants, I think The Arena Sports Bar & Grill looks reasonable. Not too light, not too heavy and not too much time to get food and then get to poker action. Anyone disagree? I don't know if you can reserve the place for parties. I'd like to call ahead or at least get there a bit early to get a table (tables) set up. Anyone know if you can reserve in advance? So far, I have the following people: TT(?) egocidal brick snowball (cameo?) Anyone else plan to be there at 7PM? I'd like to get a number to reserve. Thanks. Garland

I wont be in town Garland. Sorry. And the weekend when you will be in Vegas I have a guest in town now so I don't think I'll be going out much. Next time.

Garland, the Big Poker Oktober is still going on at the Bike on that date, and the place has been crazy. I believe it is a $500 NLHE event that night. Obviously, Commerce will have more game selection and some looser action, just a thought.
