Default Fashion Crazes

I saw today, for the first time I can remember, a guy actually sporting a Hitler moustache. Well you know what I mean. It got me thinking how the idea of Hitler is so awful, hge basically killed that particular moustache style.

Can you guys think of any other celebs/famous people that killed a look/fashion?

Do you remember any fashion crazes at school/growing up? What did you succumb to, and what was just a step too far for you?

picture and anecdotes please.

Haha, some guy is sporting a Hitler mustache over there? Wow.

Right off hand I can't think of a celebrity who killed a fashion.

Here's a fashion trend that's making a comeback and I wish it would go away. We used to dress like this when we were kids but really it's kind of funny on adults don't you think?

I wore Levi's Big Bells in high school. Cheezus, I cringe to even think it now.

That lasted about a week into college. Traded 'em in for 501's.

I keep a pair of those in my closet as my target pants I would like to wear again someday. Like after an extended bout of a wasting disease

I'd love to see a picture of you in big bell bottoms! Wonder if Carter used to wear them.

Did you have big hair too?

When I was 10, I had big afro-like hair, brown bell-bottoms and a wool multicoloured tank-top. I was cool back then... But then the Fonz came on TV, thank God, and everyone realised what actually looked cool.

I'd also welcome celebs that started fashion crazes. Pictures and anecdotes are all good.

I thought this was mostly a lindy hopper thing, but I guess I'm wrong? I figured it was girls who wanted to wear skirts, but didn't want to flash the world when they spun.

For dancers it's fine. I love leggings on dancers. But just to wear as a fashion trend I don't like it much.
