Exactly. The hero led for less than half the pot on the river. If this guy is as bad as described, I expect to see A5xx here enough to make this a call.

Am I being leveled here? There is already 2,800 in with 1,400 to call. Villain makes horrible plays. Are we not likely to see A5s, A8, or some terrible bluff one in three times?

How does anyone ever have Quad 5s here? Isn't the obvious play with Quad's to raise the turn when it looks like an 8 is the nuts?

J8s is the only possible holding he could have that beats you. The way you set this up saying he just seemed bad makes it read dependent, and from your read it sounds like a call.
