My default is to fold but I am not sure if "default" makes sense live...

How can you consider folding here. He raised to 8bbs preflop, so he is a monkey. Would he bet QQ on this flop (how good of a player is he)

I call, I don't see what we are behind, and his line seems like the AA, KK stackadonk line, right?

That would sure be an overplayed AA/KK if that's what it is.. Hero is representing a strong hand, can't see villian doing this without a big hand himself ( I don't consider AA/KK being big in this circumstances. If he's a donkey that can't get rid off big pairs, I'd call, if not I'd fold.

easy call in my opinion. he shows you AA or KK far too often for calling to be the wrong play.

I would never fold this live. Live players are so bad and always have AA/KK/AQ here. I don't think he'd bet the pot on the flop with QQ/A9. Please call this.

I basically hate every single action in this hand, although the second preflop call doesn't look nearly as bad in the second version of events.

The fact that you don't even know what to do here furthers my belief that everything else sucks. You've gotten involved OOP with a marginal hand, caught one of the best boards you could hope for, and you have absolutely no idea where you are at once some money goes in...
