Default 100nl 4bet by shorty

stack sizes put me in a awkward spot.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($189.40)
MP ($102.50)
Hero ($166.85)
Button ($40.85)
SB ($112.25)
BB ($95.35)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $14</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $27</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero ???

i ended up just shoving once opener folded idk if thats correct

Why not estimate a range to stove?

Pot size $46.5 he has $13 more behind, so effective potsize
$59.5, you have to call $26

Your equity v KK+ is 25%

But he is unknown to you,
A tight range like KK+ and a 25% chance that he is holding 99+, AJs+ gives you equity of 42%

And i have seen people make that play with worse hands repping a monster

So thats why i call and if he has the monster just note it and move on.

For this I thin it's usually good to play with stove to find the range where you break even and then decide if it's a feasible range or not.
