Rockies leading by 2/3 in this poll. You people know Peavy is pitching right? 2.36 ERA, 234 SO.

[/ QUOTE ]

how right you are.

now if you'll be so kind, allow me to indulge you with a stat line of my own:

peavy career in coors field:

3-3, 3.96 ERA, 1.5 whip, .281 BAA

of all parks where he's played more than 3 starts, these are his worst numbers

I hate the Padres. I dislike the Rockies.

[censored] Mets. They ruined a good four-team tiebreaker!

Not sure what you mean by 'finally'.
We've had tie-breaker games before. 7 of them to be exact.
The most recent one being the Mets/Reds in 1999 won by Al Leiter on a 3-hitter or something.
I was on my honeymoon with my new wife but just had to catch some of this game on TV of course since it's not very often these days we Reds fans get anything to cheer for in the postseason.

The Reds lost and the marriage eventually ended in divorce. Go figure.

Rockies fans way outweight Pads fans here. Padres will be a favorite in Vegas.

Josh Fogg starts for the Rox, on normal rest.

And yeah, he's no Jake Peavy, but the Padres lineup is pretty weak now, with no Cameron and Bradley, and we just swept 'em on the road.

And Fogg hasn't lost since August 22nd. If we get 6 innings out of him, Francis can pitch 2 innings on his throw on the side day, and our bullpen is the best in the NL since the All Star break.

Yeah, the gambloors may favor San Diego, but it's kinda a sucker bet right now.
