Default latest best wireless router

what is the best router today, i have a desk top i am trying to use with a wireless connection to cable modem in same house.
i have a linksys now but it never seems too reliable and this is the 2nd one that failed.

I'm a Linksys WRT54G fan but it sounds like you've had bad luck with Linksys.

Personally, I've used all the brands and while I like Linksys, I'm not sure if you threw all the name brand routers in a bag, mixed them up and pulled one out at random it would be alot better or worse than another. Netgear, D-link, Belkin, Linksys....I've had good and bad results with all of them. I say go buy one that looks cool and is cheap. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

maybe my d-link is defective. But im never going to get another d-link router. when i had my linksys router internet didn't just randomly disconnect every 30mins. now it does with the d-link one. im gonnna change it very soon to the one mentioned in http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...p;vc=1&nt=6

and see if it m akes a difference
