Default What is a good win rate at limit poker

Quick question,
I'm brand new at limit poker. I've been playing no limit for 2 years now but I just recently discovered limit and fell in love with it, so all I play now is limit poker.

my question to you is what is a good win rate in limit poker?
right now I've played almost 9K hands at the 3/6 level full ring on stars, and I have a BB/100 of 3.45
is this considered reasonable in limit poker?

I hate to break it to you, but your winrate should be 1/3 of what you're at now. Back in the day, your BB/100 could have been over 2 or 2.5, but now, anything over 1.5 is considered to be Herculean.

Ya, and 9k hands is too small to make a REAL win rate assesment. Just keep in the green and be happy. Better to keep an eye out for leaks in your game at this point and 9-10k hands is where you can start to look for them(if you have hand traking software).

Good luck, it'll be A LONG time before I'm back at 3/6
