Sacramento Area Card Rooms?
Can anyone recommend any good cardrooms in the area?

Re: Sacramento Area Card Rooms?
The Capitol Room is the biggest and nicest one; also the only one with limits above 4/8 I believe.
I actually liked the Limelight Bar the best though - just a few tables, but they had the loosest, worst playing table I have probably ever seen. Also just a fun atmosphere, people going back and forth between the bar and table getting drunk, but no surly drunks, just bad-poker playing ones. |

Use the search function.
Use the following search term: -re: +sacramento From the drop down menus: Select B&M forum. Expand the search to the last year. If you have any specific questions about any particular game you have interest in, post that question here. Not much has changed in the last few months except there is now a pot limit omaha game at Lucky Derby, and a 1/3 200max and 3/5 500 max NL game at the limelight. |

Re: Sacramento Area Card Rooms?
I'll chime in if you're too lazy to search. The main games in town are the Lucky Derby, Capital Casino and the Limelight. Personally I like limelight the best by far as I think the players are the worst and they have the best atmosphere. Derby felt pretty rundown and I just wasn't comfortable when I played there. Capital is nicer but the competition seems better (don't have much experience there though) and it's in a bad part of town.
Limelight spreads 3/6 and 4/8 limit games as well as a 1/3 $200 max buy-in NL game (at least, that's what the games were last time I was there). |
