QQ on K high paired board HU
Villain is 52, 7, 0.79 over 50 hands
Bet or check turn? Figure I’m up against a lot of PP:s here but also some pair of kings. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $10.25 Hero: $25.85 Button: $13.70 SB: $28.10 BB: $25 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, Button calls, 2 folds. Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.05, 2 players) Hero bets $1.4, Button calls. Re: QQ on K high paired board HU
c/f. He is so passive he is going to check all the hands you beat and some you dont. FE is pretty pointless here.
If you river a club, I would b/f half pot. |

Re: QQ on K high paired board HU
I think I would probably open up for more pre-flop. Probably 1.00. I would also probably bet more on the flop, but I'm not sure what you usually do for a cb. On the turn I would probably check/fold. There are so many hands that beat you now. And on the button I think his calling range is pretty wide. He could have completed a flush draw, have a Kx, or have a 5. He villian checks behind I would probably throw out a 1/2 bet. Fold to a re-raise. I say put out a bet on the river because with those stats he might be calling the flop bet with pretty much anything.

Re: QQ on K high paired board HU
I agree, raise to 4xBB preflop
Check/fold turn, villian's very passive so if he comes out betting or raises you he's likely to have a real hand. He also plays over 50% of his hands and could have you beat with something like Kx or 5. |
