7CSFAP newest edition?

i have found on amazon 2 editions of the book.

1.2+2 pub. 4th edition (1999)
2.Gamblers Book Club,U.S. (Jan 1989)

is there a newer edition or should i go for the first?..

There is a 100+ page section on playing in loose games which is only in the newer edition, so you should get that one.

Well I got it from Amazon a year or two ago and I don't recall having a choice for an older version. Mine says fourth edition, 2nd printing, October 2002, so presumably that's what you get unless you specifically ask for the old one.

mine says Janurary 2007 printing and is the 4th addition

As long as it's the "21st Century" Edition, you should be fine.

Hi Eye:

Gambler's Book Club has nothing to do with the publication of this book and we do not understand why Amazon thinks they had something to do with it. So there is no Gambler's Book Club version.
