QQ hand vs tag(s) 10/20
Both villains are around 21/18. SB definitely reraises light(although it had been a while at the time) and I most likely would've repopped him if BB hadn't coldcalled. I dunno if bb is aware of sb's reraising frequencies so I opted to call, good/bad? I don't know him well at all, I think he was pretty new at the table etc, so I assumed his range was pretty tight preflop
I'm running 29/24 Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $10/$20 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $2,197.00 BB: $2,776.00 UTG: $3,129.00 MP: $3,064.00 CO: $4,067.00 Hero (BTN): $7,014.68 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $70.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $222.00</font>, BB calls $202.00, Hero calls $152.00 Flop: ($666) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks Turn: ($666) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">BB bets $400.00</font>, Hero calls $400.00, SB folds River: ($1466) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $700.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $6,392.68</font> (1500 more for him) I realize most will say "betthefloplol" but the flow of the game felt like they would fold almost all worse hands and a c/r would put me to a tough decision, so I think a check was ok. So I'm mostly interested in the river |

I think BB is going to show up with a 9, I really don't like it.

Re: QQ hand vs tag(s) 10/20
Interesting hand.
I think not betting the flop was the mistake in this hand - you are not that concerned with SB so if he c/r'es we simply get it in and whatever happens happens, especially once he checked on that flop. If the BB comes back over the top you can probably muck it without knowing him better and given the action since the only hand you are realistically beating is JJ and that's too much to hope for. River is kinda [censored] since the only hand you're representing is 99 and he's getting 3:1 to call you so I don't think he's going anywhere if he has you beat... the reverse is true as well, you're also getting called by everything you still somehow beat so that's the cool part, but I'd just call the river bet and take the cheap showdown. If he had maybe 3k+ behind it would make a lot more sense but river is basically for value given his stack, and it's way too thin. Kirk |
