Default staying overnight in airport

I'm flying back to Oregon from Pittsburgh and my flight leaves tomorrow at 6:00. Is there any time that the airport closes? I can get a ride there about midnight but will have trouble getting there early tomorrow morning and am too cheap to get a taxi. Will they kick me out at 2:00 or something?

I looked on the webpage for the airport and found nothing indicating anything either way. The latest arrival is listed at 11:47 and latest departure at 10:00. However, the flight I'm on isn't listed as a departure in the morning.

Ive never been to an airport that closed the ticket area, have seen some terminals close. You will be fine.

Lots of people sleep in the airport, and unless it is a small regional airport (which Pittsburg is not) then it should not close.

I've only been to one airport that closed the ticket area, but it was a very small airport and they had no flights for like 6 hours or something. But pittsburgh airport, you should be fine. Any airport with more than 15 gates would probably be open 24 hrs.

just have your cell phone charged, set the alarm, get a nice little spot and crash...airports are pretty quiet late at night

or maybe upgrade and get into the corporate lounge type place thingy

Thanks for the info guys. That link was interesting. Looked like a couple of those reviews were people sleeping outside security. Wonder if they'll let me through at midnight for a 6:00 AM flight?

They will most likely close the security checkpoint if there are no departures around that time so you will be in the lobby.
