Anyone with more than a few thousand on epassporte has to be brain-dead.

[/ QUOTE ]

You sir are a dumbass.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why do you say that? You seriously have decent money (> 20k) just sitting on epassporte? How can that possibly be a good idea?

Where else would we keep our money? On the poker site?

Also, does anyone know if this has any effect on ePassporte's ability to do bank wires? I've got alot in ePass.

well if you're on a trustworthy poker site, i'd prefer to leave it on there as opposed to epass.

Hey i tried to make a purchase using epassporte and it was declined by the company i made the order to. After 24 hours the money is not back in my account. Is this standard? Anyone had this happen to them? How long does it take?

Update:

lol @ this thread.

The day that I read this thread on the 6th of October I made a request to ePassprote to do a bankwire withdrawl for me. It has already been processed and already hit my account less than 6 days later.

Nope - look at the screen again. The load was supposed to be completed on 9/26. I actually initiated it on Monday, 9/17, which was 14 business days ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

A follow-up to this - the load I initiated from my verified checking account almost 4 weeks ago has still not been processed, and is 2 1/2 weeks late, and counting.

I spoke to EPassporte customer service a week ago, and was advised that they would elevate this and someone would contact me in a couple of days. Thus far, nothing.

I did finally receive a response to the e-mail I sent them on 9/18 - it only took them 3 weeks to send this canned response:

I bypassed EPassporte and instead deposited onto Full Tilt with Moneygram, so this is more an an annoyance than anything else. But I'm surprised by the unexplained delays and poor customer service of a company asking me to trust them with my money.

Cheers, Carl.

This thread is probably meta-spam. Epassporte has been around a long time and is a well-funded european based clearing house/bank. You want to see some shady stuff you should look at the new payment processors propping up to help whales deposit for NFL season on the sportsbooks (omega international, moneywallet, etc)

Source of this claim? If they have plenty of money, it would suggest they're deliberately screwing around. I'd prefer incompetence or underfunding to malice.

I'm not sure what you mean by the term "meta-spam". Does that mean you doubt the experience of me (who posted pix), and numerous established posters, including those who've had no problems with EPassporte until now? Open your eyes - there are plenty of examples of problems with EPassporte, reported by plenty of people with no apparent motive to lie.

I sincerely hope that entities like EPassporte can thrive - they're essential for poker with the UIGEAA. But that doesn't mean giving a pass where they are clearly wrong.

Carl.
