Default Buying an established website

I was thinking of buying www.projectarcades.com . Here is the link to the sales ad. Any tips on valuing websites would be great.

generally 8-10 months net income is pretty standard, always look for verified income

if it's really new, then less than 10 months is normal

Hello,

I think seller clearly specified that the site is new. My suggestion is to ask for a bargain to $300- $400 and that will be a good deal.
Bydaway am also going to make an offer if you dont buy because i like the design.

bye

$500 is way too much for an arcade that makes a few dollars a month. There are tons of arcades and many for sale. Go to digitalpoint and sitepoint; turnkey, established and do a search for arcade. There are always people trying to sell arcades.

I played the acne game and nearly got the high score. By the way, I wouldn't pay a nickel for that site, but that's just me.

I personally wouldn't pay $147 for that. It's ugly, easy to reimplement and note the lack of traffic stats? You could redo the whole site and probably be getting better traffic than them in a week. As for the $500 valuation on the domain thats clearly false. I have domains that value at 6 figures when using those automatic valuation tools. I'd be surprised if most got 4 on the real market.

My suggestion? Pass. If you really want a site like that do it yourself and much better than that one.

I don't really think you should buy any site without decent traffic.
