Default quick 5th st. 15/30/45 stud8

i already ran the math in two dimes but I'd appreciate validation from more experienced stud8 players

me: (43)2 two diamonds. i open compeleted to 15.
seat 1: xx7 calling station calls.
plenty of folds
seat 2: xx8 tight passive calls, closing the action.

fourth:
me: (43)27
seat 1: xx79
seat 2: xx88

seat 2 checks, i bet 15, seat 1 calls, seat 2 calls.

fifth:

me: (43)273
seat 1: 7T5
seat 2: 88T

seat 2 checks, and I check (?), seat 1 will check here 100% of the time if I check and probably call all the time if I bet.

two dimes says if seat 2 only has open 8s, I'm the equity favorite with something like 43:40:17

if seat 2 has two pair, i'm in second with 48:40:12. (i think, can't remember and i'm denied access to 2dimes here)

i doubt seat 2 has trip eights. . .

altho i checked i think i should've bet here because i'll be getting the best of it with the dead money involved and seat 1's love of going to the river?

proper play?

I don't know anything, but my gut is telling me that you should check 4th. I am not betting into open eights with just a low draw. Note: I could be very very very wrong.

how live where the 5s 6s and 3s?

I would be tempted to bet. you want seat one out and you have some scoop outs.

You say seat One will call if you bet. He is in third place in all likely scenarios, so you want him to put money in. Bet.

Just a low draw? Just a low draw? What the hell are you looking for? Failing to bet fourth approaches crime-against-humanity territory.

As for the original query, I bet fifth 100% of the time without thinking. Maybe someone folds, and maybe they don't, but you're going to have an equity edge most of the time.

This is auto-bet on 5th.
Given the WORST POSSIBLE scenario
(8A)88T
(A2)5T7
(34)273
you still have a 21% equity in the pot. (losing money, yes, but still given the worst possible cards out there, not too bad).

Also, giving the 7 5 T a free card here is terrible, as he may muck have to muck here with paired 5s.

Besides, I feel a 3 coming on for the scoop.

thanks everybody. . . it "felt" like a bet at the time BUT i didn't bet because i wasn't sure about my equity at the time and i was pretty sure these players wouldn't fold so I err'ed on the side of caution and checked. i also could've checked behind on sixth if i blanked off.

anyway, if you guys are interested in what happened.
i caught an ace on sixth and bet, got called in both spots.

seventh: i caught another ace and bet, got called in both spots.

scooped with aces up, 74 low.

seat 1 had 76532 low NO PAIR (AIYA!)

seat 2 mucked but I'm pretty sure had eights up, which i think he made on sixth.
