To take some heat off you i've played 180k hands of stakes below $25nl and will probably be playing 150k hands of $5nl this month. (wont move up untill i have my memory issue sorted)

Guess that makes me more stupider ?

no man i remember saying one time that me and LC are the only two people who havent ignored you. I dont ignore anyone, I can handle reading stupid posts better than others i suppose.

D, you are thinking of Raistlinx.

Phy, your question isn't dumb and DLM wasn't meaning to suggest that it was. He just had you mixed up with someone else. If you are really disciplined in your goal to move down if necessary (and it sounds like you are) then I say Gogogogogogogo!

Well it warms my heart to know that you guys don't think I'm stupid.

On a related note, my shot at 25NL has utterly destroyed my BR. In less than 700 hands five buy-ins are *poof* GONE!

Thankfully I'm still rolled for 10NL (barely). And what did I learn on this little adventure? I've learned that D.L.M doesn't know how to read. And that's going to be soooo helpful to me in the future.

eh, bit late for this now but i'll throw it in anyway.

When i eventually move up too NL 25 i know the adjustments i will have too make too my games are the following:

1. One pair hands arent the nuts. While i am happy to stack off with TPTK or Aces etc i know doing this at NL 25 wont be as profitable, learning pot control will be very important.

2. Value betting - I never do this at NL 10, i just shove at the river and expect too get called, which i usually too.

3. Copping with losing $25, the jump from NL 5 too NL 10 is easy too make, but from NL 10 too NL 25 it's alot bigger in terms of the monetarty value of losing a stack.

Currently i only have 10 buy-ins for NL 10 buy i am happy with that, however i dont think i'lll try NL until i hav 25+ buy-ins.
