Default my first post minus well be controversial

Since that's my style anyway:

I contend that, UPenn and Duke poker pros are the best young players in the world, and people like you are going to pay us to take your money at the tables.

Discuss... honestly, I will back my points of emphasis up, so you should make convincing arguments if you agree or disagree.

luv,

Perhaps UPenn and Duke should concentrate on producing graduates that know the difference between "might as well" and "minus well".

Edit:

Your first post isn't controversial. In fact, it barely manages to attain the level of completely worthless and inane.

BTW, what's with this BS that the poll doesn't start right away.

Perhaps your poker is grand, but your reading comprehension and internet use capabilities leave a lot to be desired.

Someone please move this crap to NVG.

'Minus well'.....wow that is priceless; especially given the nature of this post. The best young players i've encountered are the ones who never went to college or dropped out, btw.

I think UofI probably has the best. They've got all the cardrunners and I'm pretty sure bugstud went there too.

Your logic is flawed, as for the truly genius world shakers of Yale and Harvard, poker is -ev and a waste of their time.
The smart ones (most all of them) recognize this quickly. While they surely have the potential to be the best players, to invest the time and effort to do so would almost surely be -EV. So why would Harvard students make -EV decisions? Maybe slight gambling prob, in which case their potential drops down a bit.

The truly great players should come from working/middle class backgrounds and public universities: Players with high IQ's, but with no lucrative connections/daddy's company they're passing on running after college to play poker.

Basically, for brilliant harvard guys, you're wasting your time with a -ev game like poker. Get your degree, become Senators, make millions on wall street etc
