Re: NL50 - KK how is my line?
Looks good...sometimes I would bet the river also.

Re: NL50 - KK how is my line?
I like your line. Checking the river gives a hand like T9 or a busted club draw to take a stab at the pot. Checking controls the pot size too since you are OOP.

Re: NL50 - KK how is my line?
Interesting check call on the river it makes sense...
I ALWAYS bet the river, do you usually? What made you decide to check-call? Is that the standard line? |

Re: NL50 - KK how is my line?
absolutely no reads - only had 8 hands on him.
I guess this is standard line for me, things i would sometimes (incorrectly?) do different - 1. Check flop, if he bets, check raise. If he checks, fire on turn and river. 2. Check turn, maybe raise all in or call and bet river. Results - villan showed 56o for str8. |

2. Check turn, maybe raise all in or call and bet river. [/ QUOTE ]I wouldn't mind doing this but I'd need some sort of read that he's somewhat aggressive. It's something I do alot to aggro opponents who are also capable of floating but giving a free card on this board is dangerous. Also after hands like this I remind myself that since he bet $15 on the river he's actually losing money because he essentially gave himself *only* 3.5:1 on something that is > 3.5:1 to hit so it's not like I made a mistake either. I dunno, keeps me sane against the donks. |
