Default Re: So who\'s going to immediately withdraw from Neteller on 7/30?

Does anyone have an idea of what time of day the process will start: start of business, midnight, what time zone etc. ?

If you are going to be first in line, then be first in line.

I'm signing the release.

If I was going to bother sueing them I would have done it already months ago.

Another good question is who is going to sign the release?

There is no value in signing the release. The probability of Neteller suing their own customers for using the service is approximately zero. Obviously they had no problem with transfers to sports betting sites, which is why they are in trouble now.

They're just trying to see how many people they can sucker into signing their rights away. The fact that you don't have to sign the release will probably be buried in the fine print.

Don't be fooled.

Not trying to pick on you in any way -- but why sign a release?

I'm not going to be suing Neteller by any strecth of the imagination, but why would I grant them what I'm pretty sure will be a full, final release of all possible claims for no reason other than they have asked me to do so, in circumstances where they have seized my funds for an extended period of time, been generally uncommunicative, and now offer no incentive (since I fear no suit by Neteller against me) other than their request? It's almost as if they asked me to voluntarily pay them a $10 service charge for holding my funds for the last X months; ten bucks isn't something to get exercised over, but my response to that request would be the same "no, I don't think so." I have a tiny amount of funds in Neteller (thankfully) but I can't fathom what would motivate me to sign a release when I get absolutely nothing in return and have no direct insight into the propriety or quality of their behavior (and how it impacted their US customer base) throughout this process.

lol.......... yeah, who would sign that?!

the people who wanna get paid? i cant think why a legit user of neteller wouldnt sign the release. i will guess that the majority of customers are low to high stakes players. only the high stakes players have 6 digits in their account which IMO is poor bank roll mgt.

the ppl who dont wanna sign: sportsbettors and CC fraud.

[/ QUOTE ]

if i'm getting my $ w/o signing, then why would i volunteerily sign something?

Because, in broad terms, it's an agreement between Neteller and you that each releases the other from potential legal claims. If you are nailed later by the DOJ or IRS or whoever, you can't pass on any liability for your gambling misdeeds to them. If they are nailed later by the DOJ or whoever, they can't get the money back from you.

Because of all that has happened to reach this stage, both situations are extremely unlikely, imo; but if you want to be 100% certain the money can't be reclaimed from you by Neteller in some weird and almighty future trumped-up legal case - sign the release.
