3.5:1 pot odds isn\'t enough to call a preflop all-in?
full ring no limit home game, .50/1 blinds. you have $10, and are bigblind with a pair of 3's.
utg is a short stack. he goes all in with $2 and accidently shows Aces. folds to you. pot is now $3.50. it'll cost you $1 to call. it's 3.5:1 pot odds, right? 1/4.5 = 22.22% chance of winning to break even. As Ad 1384984 80.88 319884 18.68 7436 0.43 0.811 3c 3h 319884 18.68 1384984 80.88 7436 0.43 0.189 I only have a 18.68% chance of winning. from a math perspective, even getting 3.5:1 odds, this is a fold, right? |
