Default question about Cake....

How reputable do you guys consider them?

After the Neteller shut down, Cake happened to be the only site I currently had money in, so it's where I'm stuck playing exclusively just for now. There's no real reason to doubt them, but as I grind up the roll on there, I'm getting a little paranoid since I'm not used to leaving a lot of money on a site I'm not familiar with. (And add to it the general chaos in the industry right now). Can anyone give me a confirmation that they are trustworthy? And has anyone had any sketchy experiences with them? Any reason I should try to get some of my money off?

Ive been to their offices and spent a significant amount of time with them talking about the future and develping what is now one of the best rakeback programs in the industry. They are in the US market for the long haul and will do everything they can to secure processors for that purpose. Very good guys.

Tuco.

My first hand at Cake Poker.

$1-1 limit holdem. I post in CO and am dealt J8s. Flop gives me a flush draw. UTG bets, I call, button calls. Turn completes the flush. UTG bets, I (weak-tight a-hole) call, button calls. River pairs the board, UTG bets, I call, button raises, UTG calls, I fold.

Button made a straight on the river and it is good.

A noteable hand. $1-2NL. I suck at poker so I use the short stack hit and run strategy. I raise TT EP and push all in after a reraise. I am TT upagainst QQ, he flops a set and I go runner runner for quads. I love Cake Poker and Cake Poker loves me, except maybe for the CS people, I seem to be emailing them a lot lately. The CS is excellent. They reply promptly in complete sentances and actually do what they say will.

No. Currently just Neteller, Firepay, and credit cards. But they're working on an alternative.
