Default Re: Lost with midpair

After he calls my donkbet on the flop I'm done with the hand. I fold the Turn.

But, there's a chance he could be floating on the flop to see if we lead again on the turn, with the intention of folding to a bet and b/f against a check. It's probably pretty close as far as EV, but without a read I c/f before I b/f the turn.

As played, there's basically nothing that you beat. If he had something like 66/77 he would check behind when the flush hit and the board paired. What other holding does he play here that you're beating?

I don't like the lead on the flop. I c/c the flop and probably leading out on the turn if a card lower than 8 comes.

As played, I second barrel the turn and fold to a raise or c/f the river if called

Don't donk the flop. Given you did c/f turn, the board is not drawy so I suspect he has you beat.
