Default Some big pair hands

Hand 1

Opener is 21/6.3 over 80 hands, probably horrible. 4better is unknown. Do I bet anywhere? Should I be folding to a flop or turn bet? What about a river bet. I was really really lost here.

Hand 2

Villain is amazinmets, he's a nutpeddling nit. I have him at 11.8/6.5/3.1 over 700 hands. I assume people play it the same up to this point? Shoving preflop is definitely bad vs. this guy.

Hand 3

Sound the alarms. I just got limp/reraised and then limp/4bet. Fold or shove? Yes, I know these are the questions people hate, but most of the time it isn't such an unusual situation. This is the first time I've ever seen this action.

Hand 4

Just a quick sizing question. Both villains are unknown. This is good sizing and shove every flop? Mainly asking because I don't 4bet often unless its a CO or btn open.

Villain is unknown. Turn is a good card for me. River overbet is worrisome.

Hand One: I think I bet turn. One of them has AK, the other may have you beat. But part of the reason I'm betting is I don't think it will go check^3 on the river. If it does, I guess that's OK.

Hand Two: Call. Because you didn't r/r preflop, he doesn't put you on AA/KK/QQ (maybe), and could be doing this with a pair you crush. I r/r flop, if not preflop, fwiw. Why is it so bad to push preflop here?

Hand Three: Jaysus H. If you ever were gonna fold KK, that's the action to do it. I dunno if I can find it at $100, though ...

Hand Four: Yah, sizing looks fine. Maybe a tad small, but whatever.

Running bad CDL? My little poker brain generates the following:

H1: I would play it same way.
H2: I would call.
H3: Shove.
H4: Looks ok to me.
H5: This hand dosen't make sense. limp/call preflop. Check raise the flop and check the turn. This guy have nothing, draw or boat/quads. I think, I would bet the turn and obv call shove then.

And why you think the turn card is good? This 3 helps the opponent but not you - turning his set to fh or 2pair into fh.

H1: Play the same.
H2: Play the same and insta call turn.
H3: Shove
H4: Fine. If the raise opp's raise was a little more, I overshove to make it look like AK.
H5: I play the same and snap-call river with Aces up. Betting the turn misses value IMO. Turn is a good card, Ranka. It reduces the number of combos that beat us. All the hands that were improved by that 3 had us crushed on the flop. Now there are less combos of crushing hands that opp can have and thus our equity increases.

Not that I think this is opp's range, it's just an example:

Board: Jc 3s 4s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 33.487% 33.38% 00.11% 29742 94.50 { AA }
Hand 1: 66.513% 66.41% 00.11% 59169 94.50 { 44-33, AsKs, AsQs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As5s, As2s, 7s6s, 6s5s, 43s }

Board: Jc 3s 4s 3c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 39.773% 39.77% 00.00% 1260 0.00 { AA }
Hand 1: 60.227% 60.23% 00.00% 1908 0.00 { 44-33, AsKs, AsQs, As9s, As8s, As7s, As6s, As5s, As2s, 7s6s, 6s5s, 43s }

Default Re: Some big pair hands

hand 1: I think I bet/fold flop. I hate letting him check through to get a free card, and checking to him and having him bet doesn't really help you with the rest of the hand.

hand 2: I like the preflop, flop is fine to get it in. Definitely get it in on turn. a 6.5 pfr is not low enough to fold KK. I check folded QQ to eyescreamman once but he had pfr of 1.5%.

hand 3: If you are ever going to fold KK preflop this is the spot. I had a streak the other week of getting KK vs AA and it was always to a 4 better. For some reason the .5/1 players also love the limp reraise.

hand 4: I like it, anywhere from 30-36 is good.

hand 5: Interesting. It really looks like a set that saw the board pair on the turn and decided to get tricky since they didn't have to worry about the flush draw anymore. I probably let this one go. If he had busted flush draw no need to overbet. However, there is a lot you beat. I think if you are going to call river it is much better to be betting the turn.
