Default JJ Q-high 2 tone flop

villain is unknown. my first reaction to his raise was to fold, but that being such a drawy board I thought he could do this with a FD/OESD too, so I pushed. thought I could fold out some lesser queens.

Pretty much, considering you're an underdog to almost all of his range (nut flush draw is slightly ahead of you, depending on the kicker)

I c-bet here close to never. I expect to win the pot on flop very, very, very rarely and it's too thin of value bet. A big draw or Queen is going to c/r and you have to fold. Check and see what button does.

Check and reevaluate turn.

Often if they check on turn they will fold to a bet.
If they have anything they will raise on turn to build a pot.

Please do not bet this flop. You play JJ because it is a hand that is relatively good on all possible flops. But of all these possible flops one of the worst happened in a 4 way pot. You just do not have much folding equity against so many people, because this flop hit a lot of hands. Even if all oppontents fold like 80% of the time to flop bets (which is a very, very optimistic guess), the chance that all of them will fold is only 50%. Which is the break-even percentage needed for making a PSB profitable solely based on fold equity.
