Default Sun 100k I have the best hand the whole time

This is the $11 hundred grand. Very early, but table appears to be loose-passive.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

BB (t3800)
UTG (t3070)
UTG+1 (t2910)
MP1 (t2310)
MP2 (t3100)

Button (t3010)
Hero (t2980)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t20, 3 folds, MP3 calls t20, 2 folds, Hero raises to t130, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP3 calls t110.

Flop: (t300) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t740) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets t480, Hero calls t480.

Final Pot: t1700

There seems to be a large group of villains who put you on absolutely nothing when you check the flop and bet the turn.

The delayed c-bet works better in the later stages, cause early on people look you up with any trash and don't even consider you could be slowplaying. Therefore the usual c-bet on the flop works better here imo.

Yeah, I would def bet the flop if in position, but here I thought I could basically check for information and I don't care all that much about giving a free card.

If I bet and get called (which, you're right, would be any trash) I wouldn't be nearly as comfortable playing the next two streets, and risk getting bluffed or making some other mistake (in a bigger pot, as well).

I've noticed this as well. If it's early, I agree ^^^ and say just lead the flop. Better for info...

See, I don't think it is better for info. I think he raises almost nothing and calls a ton of draws, pairs, and A-highs. If a bet is better, and it may be, it's because of that value.

If I check, he pretty much bets top pair and checks everything else, I think.
