full tilt showing wrong cards

Okay, so I downloaded some mod pics of new cards and table and what not. And when I put them in and opened up FTP to test them (railing, not playing) I saw an 8h on the board and in the guy's hand at showdown. I assumed the image file was messed up, or maybe just at that size it was. But it wasn't. To the pixel, all the cards are in the same place in every sized picture and all the picture files were the right shape and size. And in the "last hand" window, it showed the wrong pics too, and said the 8 of diamonds was in the guy's hand. I looked back and forth between my mods and the original files and the cards are in the right place. I watched further and saw an ace and a king which were different suits than the text file said they were. I also saw the correct picture for said card other times, so it is not consistent.

I freaked out and deleted the mods and am watching tables to see if it happens again. So far it hasn't. I have no idea WTF is going on or how that can happen since I have quadruple checked the pictures in every way--file size, picture dimensions, placement of cards in the pic, etc. And they were all fine. WTF. And the mod is just the cards.png files and the table.jpg file. There's no executable or something stupid like a virus.

How can this happen???? Has anybody else had any incidents with this??? With or without mods????

I read the thread title and first sentence and can 100% tell you that it is you doing something wrong. Make sure you modded the files correctly.

In the last hand window, cards used are cardsmall.png and suits have to be in reverse order. Here is a proper cardsmall example:

Again, I have double and triple checked all files and they are fine. ALL of them. From the small window ones to the big window ones. And the phenomenon is INCONSISTENT. It is not the files. Is there anything else it could be??

Thank you for your help and interest in my problem! And sorry for being so annoyed in my last post--I'm just frustrated with the problem because like you guys think, I think it HAS to be something with the mods, but I just can't find it. Below are all the mods I am trying to use, which I made from a middle-sized one in that very thread you just mentioned, which is the first link (and also cards.png and cards3.png in the FTP folder). The rest of the links are just the various sizes. Granted they don't look very good, but they should still at least WORK right???

looked at the file below, spades are first, needs to be clubs. Ra/Dom stated this

Files cards0-7 must have order of suits like thisone:


File cardsmall must have reversed order:


And your mod looks like this, cards0-7:


And your cardsmall.png:


You see the difference from upper mod? Other then that, I cant see a problem with your mod.

You made the cardsmall.png in the wrong suit order. It isnt as simple as copy/paste the entire deck/image.

I cant imagine those will look very good when being used. Why not use some of my recent version 13.x decks, as they are very similar to Waffle's cards? They are in the main FT Mods thread.
