Default QQ in 3bpot 50nl

Cryptologic - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $55.65
BB: $57.08
UTG: $33.90
MP: $54.10
CO: $25.80
Hero (BTN): $49.25

Reads: villains 13/9/3.75 over ~50 hands. i had been raising a fair amount but at the time i had only been at the table ~15 or so hands, so i dont think hes 3betting too light atm, i wasnt doing anything too out of line

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
3 folds, Hero raises to $2.00, SB raises to $6.00, BB folds, Hero calls $4.00

Flop: ($12.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $8.00, Hero calls $8.00

Turn: ($28.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $18.00, Hero folds

anyone play this differently? i didnt 4bet shove pf because i didnt think he was 3betting too light and if we get aipf im fairly sure im a large dog.

i suppose i could shove the flop, once he bets the turn i figuree his range is very heavily weighted towards aa/kk, obv tt-qq are possible too

You cant flat call the flop. Either raise or fold because you are definitely folding the turn if you dont hit, and he is definitely betting again, so you are basically paying a bunch of money to fold on the next street.

Ama, why is he definitely betting again? if i was villain and had AK im prolly checking turn. Do you think he always fires again with AK? or do you think he never has AK?

What plan do you have when calling the flop?

I don't understand. Shouldn't we just fold the flop by this logic? How is raising ever an option?

I really disagree that villain is definitely betting the turn. If he has AK he will almost certainly check. That's the reason we're calling the flop, isn't it?

fold if he fires again. check behind if he checks... not sure if i should bet if he checks though.

I think people usually play straight forward in 3bpots without history (me included). if he has aa/kk/set i expect him to fire again. If he has AK or somehtign else he was 3betting with i expect him to give up on the turn.

maybe im being hopefull/naive, but i think its an ok assumption... obviously interested in others opinions though!
