I dont have the original 360 wires, so that wasn't it, but i figured it out anyways. Thanks for the suggestions.

My TV is labeled oddly in the back, so i was putting the wrong wires into the wrong slots. Whats odd is, i thought i tried switching them before, but apparently i did not. All is well now, i just have to fiddle with the settings to optimize the picture.

i feel like such a retard

i bought a new 42" HDTV 3 weeks ago (ty online poker) for my dorm room. i just now, by reading this thread, found the HDTV switch. i thought it looked great already =)
