So which case is more imported to a community, a man solicitating underage girls for sex or a man who is addicted to pain pills? Hmmmmmmmm..... Close call....

According to the Republicans, it's the drug addict...

I was referring to a three year witch hunt where no charges were ever filed against him. Do all DAs spend so much time focused on a single person who is addicted to pain killers? The DA never filed charges in those three years..... I would hate to see Rush's legal bills for that three year period.

So Barry K spends three years on a minor case when the target is a prominent Repub but a big Democrat doner who has sex with underage girls pleas to a SINGLE charge of solicitation.....after a few hours of negotiations. Months of police investigation with hidden cameras outside his mansion recording the comings and goings of underage girls....and he only pleas to one count of solicitation? Even the police chief asks the DA to step doen from the case.....

I would think even the most partisan Dem on this forum could see the double standard applied in Palm Beach County....

From what I could find online, the felony charge was brought by the Grand Jury. And that there were 'holes' in the case, such as one little Miss X not being under 18 after all and several of the other girls had 'issues'.
And I'm not sure how many juries would convict a guy of sex with a minor when the minor is working as a whore.

Agreed. One party plasters it all over their billboards a tad bit more though.

So the police chief that was upset with Barry K. was just over reacting?

Don't you think an experienced police chief that has devoted months of police resources to a single case would have some experience what was a strong case and what was a weak case. It is HIGHLY unusual for a police chief to ask a DA to recuse himself from a case.....
