not that important...however, as you can probably imagine, if I only need $1500/month to live off of, I probably don't have the seed money to head over to Australia, find a place to live and keep up my poker playing ways.

Expert players can make $100 an hour at live 2/5 NL? So a "good" player can make $25 without too much difficulty?

Probably yeah. This is of course in tissue soft games and you might be overstating your own skills. But I'd expect at 10-4AM on a Fri/Sat night this is easily longterm doable.
